SUBDIVIDED FRAME

ROBOTIC METAL PRINTED CHAIR

PROJECT SUPERVISOR: LIMING ZHANG

This project is based on a simple equilibrium situation that a force diagram of tetrahedron equilibrates to a form diagram of three rays that start from the same point. So I subdivide the form diagram so as to make this equilibrium situation remain. Then I utilize the robotic 3d printing technique to print 3 rods at the same time to fabricate the spatial frames.
